We all know that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. It couldn’t be truer in this day and age. We don’t need to make huge life changing decisions this very moment, but we can start to pray. Start today, right now, and pray for authenticity and openness in your walk with The Lord. Tell someone you’re on this journey, share your life with someone. It may be that you share your life with your congregation this Sunday. I’ve heard too many sermons where you learn nothing about how the word impacted the preacher. Change that in your life. Be open with those around you. It all starts with you. People will follow the leader they see leading. If you lead by example and openness, you will soon have a radical revolution of openness in your ministry.
